I knew that I wanted to have a doula for the birth of my second child, but didn’t know how much I would end up needing her during delivery. Maria was a calming and encouraging presence at my side during a long labor. I could not have done it without her. Maria also came after our son’s birth to help with nursing, baby care and meal prep for the family. Maria is an excellent cook. She knows exactly what needs to be done for both the baby and mother. She needed very little instruction and always left us better than she found us. I highly recommend Maria.”

“I reached out for help from Maria for our second child to help with the transition home.
I had a three year old, and gearing up for c-section number two, I knew recovery could be touch and go. The help was very important for both myself and my husband. Most importantly she watched/consoled the baby so I could sleep and focus on recovering. Having major surgery and being somewhat incapacitated in the first weeks home with little sleep from feeding baby every few hours doesn’t help with the recovery process. She helped prep light meals/smoothies, tidied, and helped with baby’s laundry so those worries were also off my plate. Also, was great with my 3 year old in giving her attention and occupying her at times so that I could have a break from trying to do both baby and toddler while my husband was working. Absolute privilege to have her help and would highly recommend!”

I had the pleasure of working with Maria during the summer of 2019. As a frazzled new mom who was exclusively pumping due to a tongue tie, I turned to Maria as a postpartum doula.
Maria is incredibly kind, trustworthy and professional. She helped me with my newborn son so that I could pump, nap, shower, and run errands. She also helped me with baby laundry, making and washing bottles and freezing milk. I turned to her daily for advice on everything from how to properly swaddle to sleep to bottle feeding. Her help was instrumental in having a sane and happy maternity leave. I highly recommend hiring Maria!"
