Birth Doula
MamaDoula Birth support includes two to three prenatal visits in the comfort of your home. We will discuss and practice evidence based birth comfort measures, movements , and breathing techniques that may help you during your labor.
Birth doulas give physical, emotional and informational support. Birth doulas are not medically involved with your birth support.
MamaDoula Support is on-call for you beginning at 38 weeks’ gestation until labor begins. I will support you in person, during active labor and attend the birth of your baby. I offer unlimited communication via email, phone calls and text messages to support you to the best of my ability. I also include one to two postpartum visit at your home within 10 days after birth. This is an optional visit.
Every birthing person deserves to have their choices and wishes heard, supported and respected. It is important be supported and educated through evidence base research, informed consent and decision making all through labor and birth.
Your Birth Journey is emotional, physical and spiritual.
You deserve to be supported in the ways that are unique to you and your baby. I encourage you to have full autonomy in your whole birth journey, which includes, pregnancy, birth and parenting. You and your baby are one unit, and should be supported as such.

MamaDoula Support believes that birth is a natural , normal, physiological process, a rite of passage. This is an important journey that creates a parent’s life.
I will strive to support you during labor to ensure a positive birth experience and to help you to achieve as close to your birth plan as possible.
I am an independent, self-employed doula. I will be working and supporting you as your doula not as your care provider. Although I am a home birth midwifery student, and have much knowledge surrounding the birth process, this is not my main goal of support as your doula. I will not give you medical advice, but I will provide you with evidence based support.
MamaDoula Support is passionate, about giving you the birth support you need and wish for, that is unique to you and your baby. MamaDoula creates this though an educated, attentive, and caring support system during the birth journey.
This is the center of my support.
